Colon Irrigation
Colon irrigation is also known as colon hydrotherapy, so the basic question here is what is colon irrigation ?
Colon irrigation is described as both gentle and safe of a two-inch tube into the rectum, rushing warm, filtered water that reaches all areas of the colon. Basically it cleans the unwanted matter present inside the colon and exits from the body. Also, there is a system where the temperature of the water is maintained and there is a series of fills and releases to aid in the colon's functions.
While undergoing this kind of treatment you may not feel painful but only slightly uncomfortable, and you may feel it for a few seconds which you may not notice also. A highly potent wash is generally administered at the end of the procedure to get rid of any unwanted matter.
The irrigation method of colon cleansing is better than the doing enema at home, because it gets rid of the toxic waste without the patient having to experience the unpleasant odors and discomfort of that process.
